張之光：寫在阿愚畫集前面
阿愚是個靈性人，繪畫感覺很好——都在畫里了，一看便知。
作畫是一個“體道”的過程，亦即把萬事萬物周始運行的自然法則或規(guī)律實施于尺幅素紙之上的過程。所謂理無大小，因微而知著。畫雖小技，其道當于治國平天下同功。
“感覺”好是從藝的先天條件，“悟道”則是后天擔水劈柴須臾不離的功課。知識覺悟，一切都在筆下見得。
學因年進，功到自成，只要誠意正心，身體力行，阿愚會成正果的。
